Assignment 2 - Propaganda Affects Society: "Propaganda is a planned manipulation of public opinion which can be achieved by anything, but mostly done through the media. Stereotyping is a method used in propaganda to make certain groups of people more recognizable for the better or for the worse. There are many of examples of stereotyping in propaganda that were used in the history of man kind which were very effective and had a great impact on world events. Some example are thoughts on terrorists, gender issues, and litterbugs. Stereotyping in propaganda will always work unless a person selectively chooses not to pay attention to it. Propaganda amplifies already existing stereotypes and can also create new ones."
